What do I do after row 6? I’m stumped after that. Am I working one side of the sweater and then the other and sew together. I just don’t see it. Thanks!
I found the rest of the directions, but do I start with those for the caplet and then go to the cable knit sweater or do i start w/cable sweater first then where do i pick up on the other directions? I’m still confused.
Assuming that you want to do the cable design, you follow Fifi’s caplet pattern except you would put the cable design across the middle 24 stitches down the length instead of leaving it as stockinette.
The cable design looks a more masculine version and you would do it without the ruffle.

I want my mom to make my two chihuahua pups hooded sweaters to keep them warm. I have found plenty of patterns but none with hoods. Can anyone help??????? Im sure we can just add a hood to any pattern but it would be nice to find a real one.

Try Bernat.com I know that they had dog sweaters but don’t know if they had hoods. Just remember they are dogs and with the hood over their head they can hurt themselves. Be careful with it. I would like to suggest that you go to the pet section of Answers and to dogs and and ask if anyone had the hooded sweater for their dog and if it posed any problems.

I would really like the sweater to be one piece, on a circular needle or double points, but I’ll take one that needs to be sewn if there aren’t any better ones. Also, my cat is pretty small.

I’d like to knit my small Maltese dog a sweater, but all the knitting pattern’s I’ve found are for larger dogs! Does anyone know of some knitting patterns for smaller dogs? Thanks! (I’ve already tried knittingdirectory, thanks.)
